Attire and Etiquette
Guests are expected to arrive in semi-formal or formal attire. We are not that strict on dress-code, but we request that all guests at least avoid casual or business-casual attire. If this will be an issue for any of our guests, please let us know through our contact form. Please also be aware that the ceremony will be taking place on a grassy lawn, so be careful should you decide to wear heels.
Etiquette during the ceremony is also relatively loose. We ask that people put phones on vibrate and remain silent during the ceremony, but we encourage guests to attend to emergency calls if needed. We have a professional photographer for the ceremony, so we ask that guests refrain from flash photography (photography sans flash is acceptable if you wish). The officiant will indicate to all seated guests when to remain silent and when not.
During the ceremony, we encourage guests to have fun in the ways they wish. Dinner and dessert will be served at your table, and hors d’oeuvres will be served from platters brought around the reception area. We want everyone to have wonderful time at our celebration and enjoy the elegant beauty of the Christmas House.

When You Arrive
Valet parking is required for all guests coming to the event because the Christmas house has very limited parking space.
Once parked, everyone can proceed to the front garden and past the welcome sign. From there, depending upon when you arrive, you may either proceed to the reception area or explore the venue as you wish. The second floor of the house is reserved for the bride and bridesmaids to prepare, and the basement is reserved for the groom and groomsmen. Staff will let you know what other areas of the house are available or unavailable.
10 minutes before the ceremony begins, staff will begin to direct guests to the White Garden. Seating is not assigned, but the first 2 rows are reserved for immediate family and close friends. If you have any concerns, please feel free to ask a staff member and all efforts will be made to answer questions or accommodate reasonable requests.
Special Requests
If guests have any special requests for the ceremony or reception, please let us know through our contact form. We have only one special request for the event:
Please indicate on your RSVP if you plan to bring a +1 or children (please indicate their age). Preparations will need to be made to accommodate any extra guests, and special accommodations will need to be made if children older than 4 are present at the event.
